There are plenty of recruiters out there who give the profession a bad name. Our aim is to rectify that through honesty and integrity.
Our Team
Dominic Waterhouse-Kern - Managing Director
Dominic began his recruitment career at FTSE listed recruitment company Michael Page International before making the transition to a smaller yet still global entity Oliver James. It was here that Dominic was tasked with growing the banking and FinTech offering which he found diverse and exciting. From here, he went in-house to a credit card company where he was the first Talent Acquisition Manager the company hired. After this, he did stints with a couple of other FS businesses as an in-house talent management SME. It was at this stage he chose to embark on the journey of founding WKA.
He has worked with clients of all shapes and sizes across pretty much every sector imaginable and having worked for a handful of Financial Services companies, he understands the complexities of a regulated environment and the challenges of an in-house model can face.
Alex McKenzie - Consultant
Alex has been in recruitment for the last 15 years within the public sector, education and latterly financial services. He has also worked for charities within mental health and education in the tech sector and startups and therefore brings a wealth of cross-sector experience and a roundedness of how things go in the workplace. He has a genuine passion for helping people and advocates equality. He is knowledgeable and passionate and manifests this in a communicative, honest and affable manner.
